A conventional fire alarm control panel (FACP) is a fire alarm system that uses circuits with hardwired devices, such as pull stations, heat detectors, and smoke detectors. When one of these devices detects a fire, it sends a signal to the control panel, which activates the alarm system. Conventional FACP systems are typically easier to install than addressable fire alarm systems, as they don't require as much programming and setup.
