The uPVC Neltex Solvent Cement is a specialized adhesive that bonds unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pipes and fittings. It creates strong, leak-proof joints in plumbing and construction applications.

The solvent consists of CPVC resin, stabilizers, and fillers. They work to dissolve the resin and prepare the surface of the pipes and fittings for optimal adhesion. Unlike other, more traditional adhesives, solvent cement works through chemical welding. It softens the surface of the uPVC materials, allowing them to fuse together as the solvent cures. The result is a strong bond that is resistant to water and pressure.
